1976 Our grandparents, Anneliese and Rupert, built this house – with hands that knew what they were doing, and an eye for what matters.
1955 Our parents, Gundi and Xandi, filled it with life, year after year, guest after guest. We grew up here – Lisa, Elena and Florian. Between these walls, these mountains.
2026 Today Lisa and Elena carry on what the family started. Not as a hotel. As what it has always been — a home we share.
The names of our apartments aren't invented. Bodenhaus and Grieswies are the places where our grandparents spent their time. Pieces of a world you'll find nowhere else. Pieces of us.

You're surrounded by quiet, and still right in the middle of things. Our house sits comfortably in the centre of Rauris. Restaurants, shops and the ski lift are all a few minutes' walk away.
We think real luxury is having nothing to worry about.

Rauris is only a few steps away, in every sense. Fresh pastries in the morning, small shops in the village, welcoming restaurants and favourite corners for long evenings – all of it close by.
No car. No rush. Just arrive and let the days drift.
Among the mountains. At home outdoors.
Between the peaks, the forests and the quiet paths, the adventure starts at the front door. Walking in the Hohe Tauern National Park, panning for gold at the Bodenhaus, or a day on the slopes at the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen – the ski bus stops a few steps away.
Summer or winter, Rauris gives you exactly what we all make too little time for: real days out in the middle of nature.
So much to see. No itinerary.
Some days out stay with you. The turquoise Zeller See, the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun and the remarkable Großglockner High Alpine Road are all a short drive away. And if you fancy a city, coffee and a bit of history, Salzburg – Mozart's city – is only about an hour from Rauris. The big Ski Amadé areas – Saalbach, Gastein, Maria Alm – and the Alpentherme spas in Gastein and Kaprun are all within a 30-minute drive.
Easy to get to. Far from the everyday.
The road to Rauris takes you out of everyday life and into the mountains. By car, the valley is an easy 1.5 hours from Salzburg or around 3 hours from Munich. By train, travel to Zell am See or Taxenbach-Rauris — from there it's a straightforward bus, Pinzgau Shuttle or taxi. The nearest airport is Salzburg.
